Celebration,<\/p>\n
In June of this summer, I had been back in my office in Provence for a few weeks and I received a call from an events company.<\/p>\n
“Would you be available to do live sketching during the wedding of one of our clients in Monaco? It is a very exclusive wedding, the cocktail and the dinner will take place in exceptional places “.<\/p>\n
In short, when a client asks me to come to Monaco to work during two ultra-private evenings… well, I can suddenly feel my heart beating a little faster!<\/p>\n
For it was two days of pleasure. The guests were lovely and the organization was incredible.<\/p>\n
The first evening took place at the Monte-Carlo Bay.<\/p>\n
A cocktail party was held in the garden with a view of the Mediterranean. The dress code was simple and chic.<\/p>\n
Like every time, at the beginning of this kind of event, the guests are a bit shy and it’s up to me to relax them so that they feel comfortable posing in front of me. The first sketch makes the person in front of me, and I have very quickly a queue in front of me of about ten people!<\/p>\n
To avoid making them wait, I take pictures of them and sketch them. So they can enjoy the evening. That evening, I was spoiled! Elegance was the order of the day with long floral dresses, plum-colored satin jumpsuits, designer bags or elegant tuxedos.<\/p>\n
The second evening took place at the Riva Aquarama Lounge of the Yacht Club de Monaco. I was talking about exception…<\/p>\n
The guests wore wreaths that a floral artist offered them. The restaurant was filled with white roses, the yachts were sleeping peacefully in the harbor… It was magical.<\/p>\n
I have done about 50 sketches, from the 1 year old baby, to the 70 year old person.<\/p>\n
I keep an incredible memory of these two days… of work… and I thank Life Plus Event for its professionalism, its welcome, and its taste for perfection. And of course I hope to do it again soon!<\/p>\n
