Event and live illustration at Bulgari

LIVE SKETCHING AND ILLUSTRATION EVENT AT THE BULGARI JEWELER, AVENUE GEORGE V IN PARIS
Bulgari opened its hotel on Avenue George V in Paris in 2021, contributing to the glamour and savoir-faire of the famous Italian luxury brand.
On the first floor of the hotel is the Bulgari jewelry boutique, with the Serpenti watch as a guest star in all its creative versions.
MY LIVE ILLUSTRATIONS FOR THE BULGARI BRAND EVENTS ON AVENUE GEORGE V IN PARIS
My live portraits and illustrations were offered during this prestigious day. Bulgari asked me to draw a portrait of each customer who bought a piece of jewelry from the Serpenti collection. We decided with Bulgari to integrate the photos of the jewels so that they are even more visible on each portrait.
I had embedded the photo of the Bulgari Serpenti watch on my iPad in advance. So all I had to do was draw the portrait in the store.
HOW WERE THE LIVE ILLUSTRATION SESSIONS CONDUCTED?
Bulgari had invited a lot of clients and I had to draw very quickly (between five and 10 minutes per portrait). So I decided to draw all the illustrations live in black and white just with a fine and elegant line.
The whole store was animated by various providers. Clients left with their portrait drawn live during this luxury event for the famous jewelry house Bulgari.
WHERE DOES THE BULGARI SERPENTI MODEL COME FROM?
The snake is the symbol of the eternal and the embodiment of vitality, energy, and immortality. Liz Taylor, in the 60s, on the occasion of the film Cleopatra, wears a gold watch with a snake head paved with diamonds and emeralds. The Serpenti myth was born.
