livesketching
As for me, since March 15…I am going through a period of introspection…a little forced certainly…but formative!
Like many illustrators who work in events, my confinement did not stop in May, but will stop now.
So, obviously, I went through several phases during these few months.
The “I’m cleaning up after myself” phase… because after 3 months at Le Bon Marché, then 2 months in Miami, I hadn’t been back home in the south for a long time.
The phase… “I organize my work days but I don’t have a job”…in short, never lose your priorities…
The phase… “it’s a nice day, I’m enjoying” finally the garden, the house and Ray who was finally able to return from the United States,
The phase… “I’m all in” and I start a training on online digital marketing by Live Mentor (I recommend, it’s boosting!)
And finally, the phase … “it’s back to school… it will be different but everything will start again”.
During all these phases, I missed you… I don’t say that to flatter you, or to please you… it’s a fact, it’s real.
I realized how much I loved the energy of live sketching, the few minutes that become hours spent drawing your clients without having a single second to think about anything else, and the joy of the clients when they see their portraits…Live sketching is also the pleasure of being part of the most beautiful events in Monaco, Paris, and Miami with the biggest luxury brands. Yes, I really missed you.
The time for introspection is over, now it’s back to school and I have exciting plans for the holidays and spring. I’ll tell you about it. I’ll share it when it’s time.
But what about you? How did you live all these weeks… the confinement, the resumption, then the vacations… and finally the return to school still hidden… it is so destabilizing… I would be very curious to know your state of mind after all that. Shall we talk about it?
