After 3 months of confinement, the stores reopen, slowly but with exceptional sanitary standards. These make store visits much more stressful for customers, and shopping less enjoyable.
The whole fashion industry is like me, waiting, analyzing, understanding, developing, finding new ways to approach this business.
As for me, during this confinement I spent my time thinking, drawing and watching the work of my peers.
And thanks to this time spent, my style has asserted itself. I have discovered new techniques that suit me better and that make me even more confident in front of a client to draw him. Thanks to all this work, my drawings will be published by a fashion magazine and I participate in prestigious and international illustration contests.
I used this time to improve, to work, and to reflect. Like most of us, I had NEVER had free time in front of me like this. I tried to take it as a gift and live day by day.
I remain positive, telling myself that the best will remain, that more than ever the values of work and consistency in effort that I hold dear will be the ones who win.
To all my illustrator friends, keep practicing drawing at least for practice. I would like to to all brands to continue to reinvent themselves, to continue to communicate together. I will be there for my clients, as I have always been, and with patience and perseverance, and we will all be very soon, ALL FINALLY BACK
