I want to say no! but you probably won’t like it … so I’ll try to explain myself here.

To make the personalized portrait, I work from a photo, which is already, in itself, an interpretation. To this we add the problem of symmetry (our face is always reversed in a photo) and then finally there are filters, lighting, selfie, distortion of the phone lens.

You will find a lot of applications at your disposal that will interpret your photo in a more or less successful artistic way by adding filters automatically. I draw you. Certainly on an iPad, but the portrait is entirely done by my hand. My wish is to be as similar as possible, but of course I will interpret, add my vision, imagine the person, his expressions and his character. This will transform the face of my model and sometimes even shock you at first sight.

But after all, isn’t that what you like about it? Don’t you ask yourself before you open my email: what willthis make? how did she see me? Will I like the portrait?

That’s what I love about this business. To draw you, to interpret you, to try to understand what animates you, to find your beauty, that little detail that you like in your face, and also … the one that annoys you a little more.
